Are you passionate about steering sales strategies in a dynamic marketplace? We are seeking a driven Sales Director in Europe to oversee our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and execute the strategic sales plans together with a very competent team cross Europe. As the Sales Director your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales team, develop strong commercial activities, and evaluate market trends and competition. You will play a crucial role in achieving and exceeding our sales targets, driving unparalleled growth in our industry – huge business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales strategies, and analyzing market trends, and results.
- Manage recruitment and training of sales staff, providing guidance and strong follow up.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as required.
- Surpass annual sales targets through effective strategies and initiatives.
- Execute plans to expand the customer base – strong customer focus.
- Cultivate strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with customers to communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Utilize reporting and analytics to validate lead and pipeline data quality, offering guidance for improvement.
- Monitor and enhance sales information quality through data improvement programs.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations.
What we expect from you
- Minimum of 5 years of prior experience as a sales manager, preferably in B2B contexts.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in international business development.
- Proven track record in team management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from inception to closure.
- Ability to articulate product and service features clearly and effectively.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and utilize appropriate communication channels.
- Skilled in data analysis, report creation, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in thriving within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Possesses a keen business acumen, capable of devising creative, business-oriented solutions to challenges.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Location: Bi-weekly Tartu in Estonia.
