About the job
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of data through our systems
- Continuously design, develop, and test data-driven solutions to improve data quality and scalability
- Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to come up with innovative ideas and solutions for producing high-quality data at scale
- Define data models that tie together disparate data across the entire organization to create a cohesive and comprehensive view of our data
- Implement high-load structures and architectures for data systems
- Maintain the Lakehouse to ensure the reliability and scalability of the solution
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders including customers, product managers, and C-level management
What we expect from you?
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, lakehouses, and scripting
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GPC, or Azure - Strong understanding of data warehouse and data lake structures
- Proficient in SQL, Python or Scala
- Experience with asynchronous programming and data processing at scale
- Experience using dbt for data transformation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience operating and maintaining production-grade software
- Experience with Git for version control
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, and streaming solutions such as Kafka, Spark, or similar
- Knowledge of orchestration platforms such as Airflow, Prefect, or similar
