Nordic Payroll Specialist
Find your way in Foxway!
Do you have experience in payroll operations and a passion for accuracy and process improvement? We are looking for a detail-oriented Nordic Payroll Specialist to join our team in Stockholm and help drive operational excellence and compliance.
We’re seeking a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and deep expertise in payroll operations. While you’ll be the go-to person for all things payroll, you’ll be part of the wider People & Culture team.
What you will do as a Nordic Payroll Specialist:
As a pivotal member of our team, you will lead and manage payroll processes across the Nordic region—currently covering Sweden and Finland and soon expanding to Denmark and Norway. You´ll serve as the link between our organization and external providers and ensure accurate and compliant payroll delivery. You'll also collaborate with internal teams and contribute to process improvements and payroll outsourcing initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and oversee outsourced payroll services across all Nordic countries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery
- Manage time reporting and prepare monthly payroll input for external providers
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers on payroll-related matters, including parental leave, sick leave, and time and expense reporting systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and payroll providers, maintaining regular communication and strong partnerships
- Handle statutory reporting to authorities such as Skatteverket, Max Matthiesen, pension providers, Kronofogden, and SCB
- Collaborate closely with People & Culture and Finance to ensure alignment across functions
- Drive continuous improvements in payroll processes and support internal and external audits
- Support the phased outsourcing project of payroll operations—starting with Sweden and Finland, followed by Denmark and Norway
We’re looking for someone who brings the following experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll, preferably in an international or Nordic context
- Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes
- Familiarity with coordinating payroll across multiple Nordic countries
- Strong system knowledge, including experience with HRIS platforms (we use HiBob) and payroll reporting tools
- Solid knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and their impact on payroll
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving organizational environment
- Experience with payroll outsourcing or provider transitions is desirable
We envision that you are a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives working independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You bring a structured and solution-driven mindset, paired with strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude to improve processes. Flexible and adaptable, you enjoy working in dynamic environments and are service-minded with excellent communication abilities.
You embody our core values — Curious, Passionate, Committed and Courageous — and are excited to make an impact in a fast-growing, evolving company. We have a 4-day in-office policy, designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and connections across teams — a benefit that helps support our culture and your professional development.
Not sure if you tick every box? Apply anyway — we value potential and mindset just as much as experience.
To thrive and succeed with us…
You are analytical, growth-oriented, and passionate about creating long-term value through collaboration and strategic leadership.
